WORLDWIDE

The Old Testament, which was written a long time before Jesus was born, had already spoken about Jesus. It tells the story of how God created the world, chose Israel as His people, and prepared the way for the coming of Jesus.

The Old Testament helps us understand why Jesus came. Showing us God’s faithfulness over centuries, which strengthens our faith today.

It teaches lessons from real people who followed (or failed to follow) God. The Old Testament points to Jesus from the very beginning. He is the promised Saviour, the King, and the suffering servant who came to rescue us. This shows us that God’s plan for salvation was not an accident—it was His plan all along.

There are many hidden and not so hidden references to Jesus Christ in the Old Testament. With messianic prophecies from Genesis to 2 Samuel, Isaiah, Micah, Zechariah, and Psalm.

WORLDWIDE

The New Testament explains who Jesus is, what He did, and how we should live as His followers.

It begins with the story of Jesus’ birth and ends with a vision of His return and the new heaven and earth. We are given practical instructions for living as a follower of Christ. Giving us hope for the future, reminding you that Jesus is coming again.

The Holy Spirit

In the New Testament, the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary in order to conceive Jesus. The Holy Spirit is not the angel Gabriel, who came to deliver the message to Mary. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, the very same Spirit of God mentioned in the Old Testament.

The first Man to have the Holy Spirit in Him was Jesus. This happened when He was baptised in water by His cousin John The Baptist, and the Holy Spirit entered Jesus at His baptism.

For easy referencing, below is a link for the miracles and healings Jesus performed. However, please note that Jesus performed more miracles than what is written in the Bible; you will find this in the Book of John Chapter 21 Verse 25 (John 21:25)

This is His Story

From Creation to Redemption: Journey into the Heart of the God Almighty

A Note (Message) From Us to You…

We pray that as you Journey Through The Pages, these words will meet you exactly where you are.

But before you begin, let me share something precious… a truth my mother pressed into my heart back in 1990, one that has shaped everything I understand about Scripture.

She would tell me, with quiet certainty, that when God speaks through His Word, it's breathtakingly personal. The verse that undoes me might whisper something entirely different to you. Both messages? Completely true. Both from Him.

Remarkable, isn't it?

When we turn to Him fully… no walls, no pretense, just raw openness. He meets us there. His words illuminate something deep within, and suddenly, like scales falling away, we see Him. We know Him. It's the most intimate conversation you'll ever experience.

Why This Journey Exists

Let's be honest: the Bible can feel overwhelming.

Maybe Jesus appeared to you in a dream last week, and now you're here, slightly breathless, wondering what comes next. Maybe something supernatural shattered your neat categories of reality, and now you need answers. Or maybe you're returning after years away, and opening Scripture feels like stepping into a foreign country where you once lived but can no longer remember the language.

Sixty-six books. Hundreds of chapters. Thousands of years. Prophets and kings and fishermen and poets.

Where do you even begin?

That question… that exact tension, is why Journey Through The Pages exists.

What We're Offering You

The Aerial View

Imagine taking a helicopter ride over a vast forest before you hike through it. From above, you see how the rivers connect, where the mountains rise, how the paths wind through the valleys. That's what these summaries do—they show you the shape of each book before you walk through its pages. The main story. The key people. The themes that pulse beneath the surface.

Context That Unlocks Everything

Understanding when and why these books were written changes everything. Suddenly, passages that felt random click into place. You see why certain things were said, why they mattered then, and why, impossibly, beautifully, they still matter now.

A Conversational Companion

We're not writing like scholars in ivory towers. We're paraphrasing, explaining, translating the ancient into the accessible, not because Scripture needs improvement, but because you deserve an on-ramp.

Think of us as friends who've walked this path before, now turning back to say, "Here, let me show you where the trailhead is."

An Invitation, Not a Destination

This is crucial: these summaries exist to open the door, not to be the room you live in. Our deepest hope is that you'll read these pages, feel the stirring, and then reach for your Bible; the actual text, and encounter God there. Don't stop with our words. Let Him speak His words directly into your heart.

What This Isn't

Not a Decoder Ring for Difficult Passages

Some parts of Scripture are genuinely complex. Faithful, brilliant people have wrestled with them for centuries and still disagree. We're not claiming to have the final answer or the "right" interpretation. We're offering context, not conclusions.

Not a Verse-by-Verse Commentary

These are overviews, not microscopic analyses. Think aerial view, not laboratory. We're showing you the landscape, not examining every grain of sand.

Definitely Not a Replacement for Scripture

Please, and we cannot stress this enough, don't mistake the menu for the meal. These summaries are companions, guides, friends walking alongside you. But they're not the Bible itself. The nourishment you need? That comes from God's living Word, not our commentary on it.

The Parable You Need to Remember

In Matthew 13, Jesus told a story about a farmer scattering seed.

Some fell on the hardened path…
stolen before it could take root.

Some fell on rocky ground…

it sprouted fast but withered under pressure.

Some fell among thorns…

choked by worry and distraction.

But some, some fell on good soil.

And that seed? It produced a harvest beyond imagination. Thirty, sixty, a hundred times what was planted.

Here's our prayer for you: Be the good soil.

Read these summaries, yes. But then open your Bible. Let God's living Word take root deep in your heart. Let it crack open the hard places. Let it grow in the dark. Let it transform you from the inside out.

These summaries help you understand the landscape. They give you confidence to explore. They make the Bible feel less like an intimidating ancient text and more like what it truly is—a love letter written across centuries, spanning covenants, pointing always to Jesus.

But the real nourishment? That comes from Scripture itself, from God speaking directly to you, in the unique way only He can.

Walking This Journey Together

We're truly honoured to be part of your journey, even in this small way.

If something resonates, if a question surfaces, if you want to share how God is speaking to you through His Word, we'd love to hear from you

As you read, invite the Holy Spirit to open the eyes of your heart. He's the best teacher you could ever have, and He's already with you, ready to illuminate every word.

Remember what my mother taught me: God speaks into your situation, into your heart. The same verse that wrecks us might whisper something entirely different to you. Both messages come from His loving hand.

So read these summaries with an open heart.

Then pick up your Bible with expectation.

And watch what He does.

The journey begins here. But it doesn't end with us. It ends with Him.
